COOPER TOWNSHIP (WKZO) -- A woman who was reportedly upset about a recent separation with her husband, tried to run him over twice after first slamming her car into the house where he was staying.

Kalamazoo County Deputies say it happened in the 29-hundred block of McKinley in Cooper Township very early Saturday morning. The two apparently had an argument, prompting the 22-year-old to drive her vehicle over to where he was staying on McKinley and crash into the home.

When he came out, she struck him with the car and then struck the house again. He managed to move around to the west side of the home where she hit him again, he wound up on the hood as the car slammed into the house for a third time. He managed to get away.

She fled the scene at a high rate of speed, crashing at McKinley and 20th Street. She is in Borgess in serious condition. He was treated and released. She is expected to face multiple charges when she is well enough.
