CHICAGO, IL (1660 THE FAN) - Detroit came into a key four-game series with the rival White Sox knowing that it needed at least three of the game to stay close in the AL Central.  The Tigers made that effort harder Monday, dropping a 6-1 verdict to the Sox.  Alex Rios had the big hit for Chicago, smacking a three-run homer off of Rick Porcello in the 6th.  Porcello took the loss, which dropped Detroit 3 games behind in the division.  The Tigers try again Tuesday, with broadcast time on 590 WKZO set for 7:45 pm.
