CHAMPAIGN, IL (WKZO) -- The Western Michigan Broncos open their season in Champaign taking on the Fighting Illini today at 12:00 pm.  WMU is 1-3 against the Illini, and 1-1 under head coach Bill Cubit. Western looks for it's first opening season win against a Big Ten team since 1988.  Robin Hook has the call begining at 11:00 am on FM 96.5 WKZO.
