KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- An accident near West Main Street and Maple Hill Drive has affected electricity in the area.

A number of businesses in the West Main area east of US-131 are expecting power to be out for some time, as the crash apparently affected a transformer.

An employee with a business in the strip mall at the corner of West Main and Drake said they were expecting power to be out for 2 to 4 hours.
