LAS VEGAS (WKZO) --Public Safety is looking for the suspect in a smash and grab robbery at the Shell Station at 107. E. Cork St. just after 2AM Saturday.
The thief entered the store by smashing out the glass in the front door, running in and grabbing cartons of cigarettes worth over $500 and quickly fleeing.
It also appears that he paid a price in blood. They believe he slashed his hand breaking out the glass in the door and left quite a bit of blood behind inside the store.
A K-9 was able to follow the scent for a short distance, but then lost it where it’s believed he had a getaway car waiting.
He is described as a heavy-set, light skinned black male wearing a leather jacket and jeans.
