GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Two men accused of killing a Grand Valley State University adviser are back behind bars following a preliminary exam. Maceo Scott and Timothy Miller are each charged with felony murder and armed robbery in connection with the death of Santiago Zapata, Jr.
Police say the pair admitted to being at Zapata's Myrtle Street NW home last month and taking his wallet, ATM card, cell phone and car. However, investigators say they're blaming each other for Zapapta's stabbing death.
Zapata's body was discovered after he failed to show up for work.
