PORTAGE (WKZO) -- A Portage firm is planning a 26.5-million dollar expansion and the addition of 78 new jobs over the next two years.

Mueller Industries on Sprinkle Road wants to build a facility to make plastic drain waste fittings.  They will be expanding into an existing facility, replacing a plant that burned in another community.

Tuesday, the company asked the Portage City Council for tax breaks and were received warmly.
