PRAIRIE RONDE (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the appearance of several suspicious objects around Prairie Ronde Township over the past couple of weeks. They say the objects vary in description and are typically placed in mailboxes or visible from the road. A dark colored SUV full of teens may have something to do with the objects.
Over a week ago on South 6th Street they found objects bound in electrical tape that were detonated by the Kalamazoo Public Safety bomb squad, and they appeared to contain gravel, cement, or gun powder. More recently they've found rocks wrapped in electrical tape in several locations on South 6th Street and West XY Avenue. Then Tuesday on South 4th Street they found a walnut wrapped in electrical tape.
Anyone that may have information on just what exactly is going is asked to contact the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office.
