CHICAGO (WKZO) -- The Detroit Lions offense may need a reboot. The Lions led by Matthew Stafford handed 3 turnovers to the Chicago Bears in the red zone to secure a 13-7 Bears victory over the Lions Monday. The Bears defense was swarming throughout the night and Charles Tillman played Calvin Johnson tough but it was the turnovers and penalties that eventually ended the Lions hopes of a victory in the Windy City.
Stafford finished the night 28-of-46 for 261 yards, a touchdown and an interception while Johnson finished with one of the worst performances of his career ending the game with only 3 catches for 34 yards and no touchdowns.
Up next the Lions are home against a scrappy Seattle Seahawks team with kickoff set for 1pm Sunday.
