CASTLETON (WKZO) -- A violent collision in rural Barry County east of Hastings has left three people hospitalized.

Michigan State Police say a man and his 15-year-old son were traveling down East State Street in Castleton Township in a Chevy Blazer when a Teenager in a Chevy Van struck their SUV broadside at Price Road late Sunday afternoon.  The impact totaled both vehicles.

The names and conditions of the victims have not been released.  The man and his son were airlifted to Grand Rapids hospitals. The teen was taken by ambulance.
