DETROIT (WKZO) -- Those waiting to see the next generation of the Chevrolet Corvette will have to wait just a little bit longer.  General Motors announced this morning they will unveil the seventh-generation of the sports car on January 13th.

The vehicle will feature an all-new emblem as part of the complete overhaul.  Officials say only two features will be carried over from the current model which will end production in February 2013.

The new car rolls off the assembly line next October.
