WARREN (WKZO) -- The health of a 500-pound Warren woman who had to be removed from her home earlier this week is improving.

The 41-year-old remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition.  Her husband called 911 Tuesday afternoon for help and when authorities arrived they noticed that the apartment was infested with bugs and the woman had sores on her body.

The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office is currently working to determine whether the woman's husband will face charges.
