COVERT (WKZO) -- Following a tip, The Van Buren County narcotics unit attained a warrant to raid a home in Covert Township Wednesday in search of a meth lab.

Police found all the components of a meth lab including a lab vessel and some finished product inside the home. Van Buren officials also spotted a woman walking away from the home when they arrived. The woman was searched and arrested on outstanding warrants.

They will be seeking several meth related charges against the 35-year-old occupant of the home once drug tests are complete.
