WARREN (WKZO) -- A 500-pound Warren woman remains in critical condition after being removed from her home Tuesday.

According to authorities, the 41-year-old woman lived in an apartment with her husband and four-children.  Her husband called police and reported that she needed medical assistance.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they discovered the woman lying in her own waste and covered with bedsores and maggots.  Officials say that the woman has been bedridden for a long time due to a medical condition.
