KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Kalamazoo Jury in the John Thompson drunk driving case has now deliberated over a full day on the evidence without reaching a verdict. They will try again Thursday s morning.

They have to reach a verdict on four different charges and Thompson admitted his guilt to three of them on the stand.

It was his claim that he was so totally and utterly drunk last spring that he was unaware that he was driving or being chased by police that must be dividing the jury, on the felony fleeing an eluding charge.
