WARREN (WKZO) -- A lot of jobs are being added by General Motors at its new Innovation Center in Warren.

GM announced plans for the center Monday, bringing 1,500 new jobs to metro Detroit.  The facility will be housed at the GM Technical Center campus.

Governor Snyder praised the move, saying he applauds "this world-class auto company for tapping the technology talents of the world's premier manufacturing work force."
