FENNVILLE (WKZO) -- Fennville in southern Allegan County thinks it can save money by putting its own one man police department on the road.  They are paying 77-thousand now for a Sheriff's deputy hired through the county.  They figure they can buy a car and hire an officer for around 65-thousand.  The goal is to hire the new officer in time to get them trained and start patrols on January 1st.
