WYOMING (WKZO) -- A vigil was held Monday night for a boy who was accidentally run over Friday night at the Wyoming Public Schools homecoming parade.
Four-year-old Jordan Lamarouex was riding on a float with his parents when he asked if he could walk along side. When the boy was lifted down, he was accidentally run over.
Jordan was rushed to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, but he died soon after. Wyoming Schools Supreintendent Tom Reeder says they have started a collection to help the family with funeral expenses.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Grand Rapids First Assembly of God in Wyoming.
