BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- A 46-year-old Battle Creek man filed a complaint that he had been assaulted in the 500-block of Hamblin by a man he thought was his girlfriend.  They had been dating for six months after meeting at work, and had engaged in some sexual activity twice, but the man learned the man he thought was a woman was actually female when they were going to have sex.  Officers are trying to determine the identity of the other person.
