ANN ARBOR (WKZO) -- Being governor has its perks.
For example, a governor gets to sit on the edge of the court during a University of Michigan basketball game if he or she likes.
They just have to watch out for the players sometimes flying through the air or sliding out of bounds across the court.
Or, maybe they just need to watch out for the players' feet.
"It came really close, within an inch," Governor Rick Snyder told WKZO about a nearly painful collision between his face and Wolverine Mitch McGary's foot, after McGary took a spill.
Snyder could not be sure of McGary's shoe size, but said it "looked a lot bigger that close up," during an interview on The Lori Moore Show Wednesday morning.
The governor said First Lady Sue Snyder, who was seated next to him, has a bruised shin from the mishap, but that will not stop them from sitting close to the action in the future.
