STURGIS (WKZO) -- Sturgis Police are looking for a short black male who attacked the clerk at the Admiral Gas Station on Chicago Road with pepper spray before cleaning out the cash register. Police say he took a large sum of money about 8:15 Tuesday morning.
He fled on foot toward Jacobs St. Sturgis Police deployed a K-9 but the dog lost the scent before finding the armed robber.
The suspect was wearing all black and a mask. He was 5-foot-5 inches tall and had a slender build, with braided hair and patchy facial hair.
Sturgis police hope to release a sketch of the suspect today.
