Varela posted a photo of herself cuddling the new arrival, writing, ""Matteo V. Akoskin is finally in our arms! Thank you so much for all your greetings and blessings! I can't answer all of them, but each has touched my heart. (In) love with my baby.""

Matteo is the first child for Varela and producer Lucas Akoskin.
