KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- An investigation into the death of a Kalamazoo infant has resulted in charges against the child's father.

Four-month-old Tahj Oneal Lockett was found unresponsive in the 500-block of North Arlington Monday.  After an investigation, the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor's Office authorized a charge of first degree child abuse against the child's 22-year-old father, also named Tahj Oneal Lockett.

The Medical Examiners Office has yet to render an opinion on the exact cause of the infant's death.  Kalamazoo Township Police ask that anyone with information on the case contact them either directly or Silent Observer.
