RICHLAND (WKZO) -- Last night, the Gull Lake School Board heard opposition from concerned parents who say they fear for the safety of their kids if a teen who brought a stolen handgun, 200 rounds of ammunition and a stolen car to school a year ago is readmitted.
The boy’s parents and several board members say the 13-year-old presents no threat and deserves a second chance.
After listening to the parent’s concerns, the board decided to appoint a reinstatement committee that will have 10-days to review the boy’s case and make a recommendation.
