LANSING (WKZO) -- Attorney General Bill Schuette testified Monday morning at a House Insurance Committee hearing. He addressed concerns about the proposal to allow Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to change its status from a charitable trust to a non-profit insurance company.
Schuette says that one area of concern is to make sure that the assets of the citizens of Michigan are protected. He says he will also make sure to protect Michigan's seniors and ensure that they are treated fairly and justly in light of any possible change.
