PAW PAW (WKZO) -- The man police say is responsible for a crash that killed three near South Haven this week is out of the hospital and in jail, formally charged with eleven counts.
32-year-old David Glen Johnson of Covert was discharged from Bronson Hospital at 3PM Friday and immediately taken into custody by two deputies who transported him to the Van Buren County Jail.
He is being held without bond on three counts of 2nd degree murder and 3 counts of driving drunk causing death for being responsible for the head on collision that killed Cassadi Berryhill, Kandice Berryhill and Brittney King.
He is also charged with three counts of driving on a suspended license causing death and one count each of driving while drunk and driving with a suspended license causing injury to Justin Berryhill, who continues to recover from the crash.
Johnson was also charged for one count of Larceny by conversion on a warrant out of Covert.
