GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Three people suspected of transporting millions of dollars worth of marijuana from California to West Michigan are pleading not guilty to federal drug charges.
Thomas Verburg, Catherine Weitz and Christy Weitz are all accused of being part of a ring that shipped 5.5-million dollars worth of pot to the Grand Rapids area using commercial freight companies. Several other people have been indicted in the case but are yet to be arraigned.
