KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A Scotts woman is being charged in connection with a deadly crash on a Kalamazoo County road.
Amanda Ambs was arraigned Thursday on a misdemeanor charge of a moving violation causing the death of Kyler Lanning. Her lawyer entered a plea of not guilty.
Ambs was driving on South 29th Street in Comstock Township back in July when cops say her vehicle struck Lanning and Lanning's boyfriend, Darel Stewart. The 24-year-old Lanning died while Stewart suffered a broken foot.
