BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- The FireKeepers Casino in Battle Creek will open its hotel December 12th for an opening date of 12-12-12.  The casino has been open for a little over three years, and the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi is touting the new lodging as a resort-style hotel.

The new hotel will have 242 rooms with an indoor pool, exercise facility, full service restaurant and a business center.  There will also be a multi-purpose event center that can hold up to two-thousand people for concerts.
