PORTAGE (WKZO) -- Sunday's Jingle Bell 5K Run at the Celery Flats in Portage will help shed light on the fight against Arthritis.
This year's spotlight shines on Cody Allkins of Kalamazoo.
"She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in her early twenties," Arthritis Foundation Director of Development Mary Sue Lanigan tells WKZO. "That is a disease that affects 300,000 Americans."
Lanigan said the proceeds from the Jingle Bell Run will go toward research for Rheumatoid and other forms of Arthritis.
The run steps off at 2pm at Celery Flats in Portage on Sunday, November 18. Click here for more information.
