ALLEGAN COUNTY (WKZO) -- Former Watson Township Treasurer Stephanie Bogdan will serve a year in jail and has been ordered to pay over $77-thousand dollars in restitution for gambling away tens of thousand of taxpayers dollars at the Gun Lake Casino in the first few months it was opened.

There had been some dispute over exactly how much was missing, and Bogdan has already paid $50-thousand back.

She will also spend five years on probation once she has served her time.
