HAMILTON (WKZO) -- Two men from Decatur have been arrested following an alleged robbery in the 50000-block of M-51 in Van Buren County's Hamilton Township around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A 17-year-old man told Sheriff's deputies that he and two other men, ages 17 and 18, had been driving around smoking marijuana with a 19-year-old Decatur woman at the wheel of a van.  He told deputies that they had arrived at his residence when one of the men began choking him while the other stole his cell phone and 70-dollars in cash before they threw him out of the vehicle.

The victim contacted law enforcement, identifying the suspects who were found after they allegedly took off, sideswiping a parked vehicle at high speed in the process.  The two men were arrested on robbery charges and further charges against the female driver are being sought.
