MIDLAND (WKZO) -- Midland-based Dow Chemical Company is planning to donate up to 500-thousand dollars in relief efforts for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Dow has organized the efforts through various donations to the American Red Cross, along with an employee matching gift program of up to 100-thousand dollars.

Dow will match any employee gifts this month to the American Red Cross or any other responding organization they choose.  The company will also assist with up to 150-thousand in additional humanitarian, technical or product donations.
