KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Most voters headed for polling places on Election Day do not even see nearly the amount of election workers and volunteers.
Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson tells WKZO it is a massive coordination.
"We have 1538 clerks throughout the state conducting elections," Johnson said. "We have about 30,000 poll workers."
Johnson said this year, poll workers were all trained uniformly using videos which were viewed by all of the workers.
Polls are open until 8pm Tuesday.
