KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo City Commissioners may be the only local officials who aren’t on today’s ballot but they still have a dog in the hunt.
A millage renewal to keep Metro Transit Buses rolling will appear on city ballots and they expressed concern at last night’s meeting that because it’s the last item on the ballot, that many people may not find it.
The ballot language describes it as a new tax, but it’s actually just a renewal of the same tax that the system relies on to keep rolling.
