DETROIT (WKZO) -- Recent documents released by the Boy Scouts of America show 52 Michigan men have been accused of molesting scouts over a 25-year period from 1960 to 1985.
The "Detroit Free Press" reviewed the documents to come up with the number. The papers are related to a lawsuit filed by an Oregon man in 2010 in which he was awarded over 18-million dollars in damages for being repeatedly sexually assaulted by a scoutmaster.
The Michigan men accused were scoutmasters, volunteers, coaches and assistant scoutmasters in that time.
