DETROIT (WKZO) -- U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow appears headed for a third term on Capitol Hill.

The Democrat leads Republican challenger and former Congressman Pete Hoekstra, 50-to-43 percent, in a poll released over the weekend by Foster McCollum White Baydoun.  Just three-percent of voters are undecided in the race, while another three percent are backing another candidate.

Stabenow has never trailed Hoekstra in any of the polls leading up to the election.
