KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Mayor Bobby Hopewell has a new job, and its in Battle Creek. He is currently the director of Hospitality Services at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. He is being promoted to running the new Borgess Health Park in Battle Creek.

They just recently broke ground on the new 27-million dollar facility and it won’t be completed for another year and a half. Apparently he intends to commute.

He will oversee day to day operations. The Press release does not specify exactly when his new job begins.
