DEARBORN (WKZO) -- U.S. sales for Ford Motor Company last month remained virtually unchanged over the same period last year.

Retail sales for the automaker were up by two-percent over last October.  There were some boosts however with small car sales posting a 54-percent year-over-year increase. This is the company's strongest October for small car sales in eleven-years.

Ford F-Series also posted a strong month posting an eight-percent increase over last year and marking the 15th straight month of sales increases for the F-Series.
