MT. CLEMENS (WKZO) -- The husband of a morbidly obese Warren woman who died after she was removed from her home last month is facing charges.

Michael Brooks has been charged with second degree abuse of a vulnerable adult in the October 22nd death of Yolanda Reese-Brooks.  Reese-Brooks had been bed-ridden due to injuries she suffered in a 2011 car crash, and when her husband called authorities for help October 16th they found the woman lying in her own waste and needed to wear hazardous materials gear to take her from the home.

The couple shared an apartment with their four children, who have been placed in the temporary custody of a family member.
