GUN LAKE (WKZO) -- t’s been a holiday tragedy for a Grand Rapids family. They were out diving from a boat into Gun Lake in Barry County when 17-year-old Jhalak Bhattarad went under and didn’t come back up.

Divers from 5 different police agencies joined the search but the part of the lake where he disappeared is 40 feet deep and visibility under the surface isn’t that great.They searched until dark Saturday night and resumed Sunday morning.
