AUGUSTA (WKZO) -- There will be a Memorial Day Observances in most west Michigan Communities on Monday, but the largest in the area will be held on Sunday at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta.
Colonel Rodger Seidel Ml ANG, commander of the Airlift Wing, will give the keynote address and Veterans’ organizations from all over Michigan will lay wreaths in remembrance of the brave men and women who have gone before defending our freedom.
They hold it on Sunday so local veterans can attend both that one and their local observances,if they choose. It will begin at 2pm with a flyover.
