MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WKZO) - The Detroit Tigers ended a three-game losing steak Friday with a 10-6 win over Minnesota. Detroit garnered 16 hits en route to the win, paced by Brennan Boesch, Prince Fielder, and Delmon Young, all with three hits each. Alex Avila added two doubles, including one in the 2nd inning that gave Detroit the lead for good. Game two is set for Saturday afternoon, with broadcast time on 590 WKZO set for 1:45 pm.
