PORTAGE (WKZO) -- KVET and the Portage Police Department executed a warrant in the 4200-block of Cedarcrest Avenue in Portage Friday.  They had been tipped off that meth was being made and sold there.

A search turned up meth, scales, evidence of a meth lab, and Psilocybin mushrooms.  The meth seized had a street value estimated at five-hundred dollars.

A 34-year-old Portage man was arrested for operating and maintaining a meth lab, as well as possession with intent to deliver meth.  He's been lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
