DETROIT (WKZO) -- A software problem is forcing General Motors to recall over 43-hundred 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco models. The automaker says they found a problem with the controls for the airbag system. In a situation where the driver aggressively turns the car, the roof airbags may deploy.
The problem was found during tests done by GM and there have been no reported accidents or injuries in the vehicles involved in the recall. GM will be sending out letters after June 1st to owners with instructions on how to have their car repaired.
