WYOMING, MICHIGAN (WKZO) -- Greif counselors will be on campus Monday at Wyoming Park High School after two students from that school were killed, another seriously injured and the driver arrested. Graduation is just a week away.
Police say there were 6 teens in the car that was eastbound on I-196, and took the exit ramp at Chicago Drive at too high a rate of speed, rolled onto its roof and hit a tree.17-year-old Timothy See and 15 year old Krysta Howell were dead at the scene. A third teen is listed in serious condition, but is expected to recover. And two other passengers were not injured.
Capt. Kim Koster says it appears all the teens, including the driver had been drinking at a house party.They held a candlelight vigil at the high school last evening. Graduation is just a week away.The driver could be formally charged Monday.
