COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP (WKZO) -- Larry Bell started making beer in his kitchen out of a small tub and, with the help of "10 single guys" as he put it Monday, he has been able to build an empire.
Monday marked the ribbon cutting ceremony on thenew brewery in Comstock that will give Bell's Beer the potential to produce half a million barrels a year.
Through the week to celebrate the new opening, The Eccentric Café in downtown Kalamazoo will have 26 Bell's beers behind the bar, many of which are not available on the market.
Also during the week, Zazios, Old Burdicks and the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange will have events and special menu items created to go with specific Bell's Beers, to mark the opening of the new Brewhouse.
