KALAMAZOO (WKZO) Kalamazoo crowned male and female half-marathon champions on a cool May day Sunday.  Kalamazoo native Galen Burrell took the men's title finishing in a time of 1 hour, 15 minutes and 54 seconds. 

In the women's race it was Melissa Mantel of Chelsea who finished with a time of 1 hour, 27 minutes and 51 seconds to secure the title.  Watch video interviews with both Mantel and Burrell above.
