ANN ARBOR (WKZO) -- A Michigan man could face charges after allegedly knocking out his wife with a pineapple during a fight Friday night.

The 34-year-old Ann Arbor woman was reportedly sent to the University of Michigan Hospital shortly after the incident.  Hospital staff notified police of the suspected assault.

Police say the woman was uncooperative, so they went to her home on Braeburn Circle and found evidence of an altercation.  It is not known if there were prior incidents of domestic violence in the relationship, but officers are submitting an arrest warrant request to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office for the woman's 42-year-old husband.
