KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- After a second murder this year on Rose Street, and statistics that show that most homicides in Kalamazoo are occurring in the same neighborhood, Chief Jeff Hadley wants to see if there is a pattern to the mahem.  16 of the city’s last 22-killings have taken place on the city’s north side neighborhood between Prouty, North St., Burdick and Alamo Drive.  Hadley wants to do victim and suspect profiles, break down the motives and the methods and do a comparison to see if there are any trends or patterns that could suggest preventive measures.
